The National Centre for Radio Astrophysics, Pune [NCRA] of the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research [TIFR] (an autonomous institute under the umbrella of the Department of Atomic Energy of the Government of India) is an internationally reputed research institute. NCRA–TIFR is located inside the Pune University Campus. Facilities operated by NCRA-TIFR include, the Ooty Radio Telescope (ORT) and the Giant Metrewave Radio Telescope (GMRT). Located about 80 KM north of Pune, GMRT is the world’s largest radio telescope at metre wavelengths. NCRA is on the lookout for suitably qualified candidates for the following positions:

Minimum Qualification: Candidate must have a BE/B.Tech degree in Computers /IT/Electronics/Instrumentation or Control Electronics Engineering with minimum 60% marks from a recognised university.
Minimum Experience : 1-2 years in (a) taking care of High Performance Computing Facility and helping in System Administration; (b) thorough knowledge of Linux; (c) exposure to and maintenance of High Performance Computing (HPC) machines.
Age: Below 28 years.

Minimum Qualification: Candidate must have a BE/B.Tech degree in Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering with minimum 60% marks from a recognised university.
Minimum Experience : 1-2 years in design of radio frequency equipment and digital electronics. Experience in design of space payloads is desirable.
Nature of Job: Design and development of Radio Frequency equipment, circuits and digital electronics.
Age: Below 31 years (after relaxation)

Minimum Qualification: M.Sc. (Physics) with minimum 60% marks from a recognized University and good familiarity of laboratory experiments. Knowledge of use personal computers and its applications.

Note: Project Appointments are temporary and will be maximum upto 31st March 2019. No absorption thereafter.
