Health and Wellness
1. Medical
There is a medical centre at the NCRA campus equipped with two doctors and a nurse. This facility is used by all the students, postdoctoral fellows, staff, family members, the DAE retirees, and the visitors. If required the patients are referred to the hospitals that are under CHSS scheme. The phone number of the NCRA clinic is 020-25719550.
2. Counselling
The NCRA also has a mental health counselling facility. The counsellor visits the campus once in a week, on Fridays. Individuals who wish to meet the counsellor should take an appointment in advance.
3. Child care
Although presently there is no on-site daycare facility for children in NCRA, it is possible to use one of the nearby daycare centres listed below:

4. Safe work environment
We are firmly committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of the entire campus community, including students, faculty, staff, and visitors. We do not tolerate any actions that might lead to a hostile atmosphere in the workplace. There are two committees responsible for maintaining a safe work environment:
(i) The Internal Committee (IC) is committed to Prevention of Sexual Harassment at Workplace of women (PoSH), and to creating awareness about gender equity. The contact details and activities of the IC can be found here.
(ii) There is a Students' Grievance Redressal Committee which investigates grievances of students and post-doctoral fellows. The details can be found here.
