NCRA Recreation Club

 

The NCRA Recreation Club (NRC) oversees various facilities, and conducts several activities and events for the NCRA-TIFR community.

 

1. Sports: The NCRA campus has a small (100 m x 50 m) playground, as well as indoor table-tennis and carrom rooms. 

 

2. Annual programmes and community activities:
   
     The NRC onducts: 
             i. Drawing competition

             ii. Rangoli competition

             iii. Excursion trips

             iv. Table tennis matches

             v. Cricket matches, etc. for children and families.

3. The NRC also maintains the following two facilities:                      
       
     i. The NRC library: The NRC maintains a recreation library, which has several hundred books. 
These are novels, language books, etc. Members can collect the  key of the NRC library from the NCRA reception
       
     ii. Gymnasium facility: Both an indoor and an outdoor gymnasium are available on the NCRA campus for NRC members.

The NRC welcomes new ideas for conducting activities for the NCRA-TIFR community.
