Astronomers Discover Elusive Dying Radio Galaxies using Deep Radio Surveys - 25/02/2023

A team of astronomers from the Physical Research Laboratory (PRL) in Ahmedabad, the National Centre of Radio Astrophysics-Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (NCRA-TIFR) in Pune, and the University of Oxford has discovered several elusive dying radio galaxies using some of the world's most powerful radio telescopes, including the Giant Metrewave Radio Telescope (GMRT) located in Khodad, Pune.
