The National Centre for Radio Astrophysics, Pune [NCRA] of the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research [TIFR] (an autonomous institute under the umbrella of the Department of Atomic Energy of the Government of India) is an internationally reputed research institute. NCRA–TIFR is located inside the Pune University Campus. Facilities operated by NCRA-TIFR include, the Ooty Radio Telescope (ORT) and the Giant Metrewave Radio Telescope (GMRT). Located about 80 KM north of Pune, GMRT is the world’s largest radio telescope at metre wavelengths. NCRA is on the lookout for suitably qualified candidates for the following positions:

Minimum Qualification: Candidate must have a BE/B.Tech. degree in Electronics, Instrumentation, Electrical and Electronics, Control Electronics Engineering with minimum 60% marks from a recognized university.
Minimum Experience : 1-2 years in relevant field.

Job Requirements: He/She will assist in the design, development and testing of high-frequency analog and digital electronics circuits and fiber optics for GMRT receiver system upgrade.

Job Requirements: He/She will assist in the installation and testing of the receiver electronic circuits and upkeep of the computer networks in the receiver system.

Minimum Qualifications: (i) SSC/HSC, (ii) Diploma in Engineering (Electronics) with at least 60% marks. Fresh candidates passed in 2014 will be considered, if found suitable, based on their performance at interview. (iii) Knowledge of use of personal computers and its applications.
Minimum Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in Radio Frequency/ Communication System integration and testing.
Age: Below 28 years.
Note: Candidates with BE/B.Tech. or higher degrees will not be considered for this post.

Minimum Qualification: (a) S.S.C. OR Equivalent. (b) ITI in Fitter/Mechanist/Welder/Tool and Die Maker (Jig & Fixture)/Instrument Mechanics Trade with minimum 60% marks.
Minimum Experience: Either (i) 2 years or (ii) NCTVT with 1-year in reputed workshop/organization in fabrication, operation and maintenance of workshop machinery. Candidates with knowledge of TIG and MIG welding will be given preference.
Age : Below 28 Years
Note : Candidates with Diploma or higher qualification will not be considered for this post.
8. Project Tradesman-B (Mech) [1 Post UR; HQ: Khodad] Click here to apply online

Minimum Qualification : (a) S.S.C. OR Equivalent. (b) ITI in Fitter/Mechanic Motor Vehicle/Motor Driving-cum-Mechanics/Mechanic Machine tool and maintenance/ welder/Bench Fitter Trade with with minimum 60% marks.
Minimum Experience: Either (i) 2 years or (ii) NCTVT with 1 year in reputed workshop/organization in operation and maintenance of Hydraulic Equipments like Hydra Crane or 922 crane etc. Knowledge of Fabrication is essential.
