The National Centre for Radio Astrophysics, Pune, of the Tata Institute of Fundamental  Research (NCRA-TIFR), an autonomous institute under the umbrella of the Department of Atomic Energy of the Government of India, is an internationally reputed research Institute. NCRA-TIFR is looking for an Administrative Officer D / Administrative Officer E, at their Pune Campus. The Administrative Officer should be a dynamic and highly motivated individual. S/He should have excellent human relation skills and proven leadership qualities. The selected incumbent could be overall in charge of all aspects of administration including establishment, purchase, stores, accounts and finance depending on background and experience. The incumbent should be able to run a responsible administration while ensuring speed, quality and attention to details and must provide effective administrative support to carry out globally competitive scientific research.

Essential: (i) Graduate degree with minimum 60% marks.

(ii) Post Graduate diploma from a UGC recognized institution, in Management/ Finance/  Accounts or in a related area.

(iii) Good practical knowledge of Govt. of India rules and regulations on finance, establishment, service rules and welfare matters.

(iv) Minimum 5 years’ experience in an administrative/ managerial position (in Establishment/ Accounts/ etc) equivalent to current GP of 4800/ 5400, preferably in a research or educational organization.

(v) Proficiency in computer usage relevant for administration.

 

Desirable: (a) Post Graduation from an institution recognized by the UGC [MBA/ MCom/ MA/ MSc/LLM/ MTech].

(b) Experience of leading a team of (say ~10) junior colleagues.

Candidates with outstanding track record and experience may be offered the higher post of Administrative Officer E [PB-3: 15600–39100, with GP 7600/-]. TME: 59,855/-

 

Age: Below 45 years for Administrative Officer–D and below 52 years for Administrative Officer–E.
