Deadline for proposal submission extended

Under normal circumstances, the GMRT observatory aims to provide a minimum of 27 functional antennas for any GTAC approved observation. For Cycle 21, the target of 27 functional antennas will be reduced to 26 functional antennas. In order to allow some extra time for users to factor in this change in specification and modify proposals under preparation, the present proposal submission deadline of Thursday, 7th July is being extended to Friday, 15th July. Those who have already submitted their Cycle 21 proposals, and would like to revise them in view of the above changes, are requested to contact GTAC Chairman by sending an e-mail to gtac@ncra.tifr.res.in. - 29 June 2011.
