Preetish Kumar Mishra completed his B.Sc.(Hons.) in physics from the University of Calcutta in 2011. He then joined the Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai, obtaining his M.Sc. in physics in 2013. Following this, he did a year-long research project at the Department of Physics, University of Calcutta. He joined NCRA-TIFR in August 2014 and is currently carrying out his doctoral research under the supervision of Yogesh Wadadekar.
