The National Centre for Radio Astrophysics, Pune [NCRA] of the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research [TIFR] (an autonomous institute under the umbrella of the Department of Atomic Energy of the Government of India) is an internationally reputed research institute.  NCRA–TIFR has set up two radio telescopes, viz., the Ooty Radio Telescope (ORT) and the Giant Metrewave Radio Telescope (GMRT). The ORT is run by the Radio Astronomy Centre (RAC), Ooty, NCRA-TIFR is on the lookout for suitably qualified candidates for the following positions at its Radio Astronomy Centre at Ooty.

Minimum Qualification :i) BE/B.Tech (Electronics) with atleast 60% marks from a recognised university.
Areas of Training:Digital/Analog/RF/Servo/Electronics. No absorption after training.

Minimum Qualification: M.Sc. (preferably in Electronics).  Working knowledge of computers and familiarity with computer programming.
Age: Below 28 years.

Stipend: 16,000 pm. Successful training will lead to absorption, on probation, as Scientific Assistant-B in PB-2: 9300-34800; GP: 4200 [TME: 31,671/-].
Minimum Qualification: (a) B.Sc. (Physics / Electronics) / Diploma in Engineering, (Electronics/Electrical and Electronics) with 60% marks in aggregate. (b) Knowledge of use of personal computers and its applications.
Nature of job: Initial training in electronics/electrical, computer systems and operation of radio telescopes as Trainee for 1 year. Bond is to be executed before joining to serve NCRA for at least 3 years after successful completion of training.
*The candidate must attach a copy of the certificate issued by the Competent Authority in the prescribed format stating the nature and extent of disability.
Age: Below 28 for UR, and 43 years for ST+PWD (Hearing Handicapped) (after relaxation)

Minimum Qualification :i) Graduate with 50% marks, (ii) Knowledge of typing and    use of personal computers and applications (MS Office).  (iii) Candidate with better typing skills will be given preference.
Desirable Qualification :i) State recognized certificate course in computers or equivalent  (ii) Drafting skills in English is highly desirable.
Minimum Experience :  One year experience as a Clerk in administrative matters and correspondence in large and reputed organization.

Minimum Qualifications: (a) 10^th OR equivalent (b) ITI (Electronics) with minimum 60% marks.

Nature of job: Electronics Lab. wiring, testing and maintenance of ORT Electronics (Analog & Digital) systems.

Minimum Qualifications : (a) 10^th or equivalent (b) ITI–Civil Draftsman with minimum 60% marks.

Age: Below 28 years.
