About
I am a Professor at NCRA-TIFR in Pune, India, working on galaxy evolution, radio properties of galaxies, and machine learning applications in astronomy.
I did my PhD in Physics at IUCAA, the Inter University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics, located on a scenic campus in the University of Pune. From July 2001 to December 2002, I was a postdoctoral fellow at the Institut d'Astrophysique de Paris in Paris, France. From 2003 to June 2006, I was a postdoc at the Space Telescope Science Institute in Baltimore, USA. From July 2006 to October 2007, I was the astronomical software scientist for the Sloan Digital Sky Survey at Princeton University. In October 2007, I joined the National Centre for Radio Astrophysics in Pune as a faculty member.
