My Research interests :

I am currently pursuing my PhD at NCRA. I am working in the field of Radio Pulsars. I am also developing a new software back-end for the observatory (GMRT)...

Pulsar Astrophysics :

Working for the targeted pulsar search in the supernova remnants with phased array pulsar receiver at the GMRT

Working for the timing of the young pulsars (associated with the supernova remnants) at the GMRT

Radio Astronomy signal processing and instrumentation :

Developing a realtime high time and spectral resolution Software Correlator and associated Pulsar Receiver

Working on the FPGA based high bandwidth Digital Spectrometer and Correlator for GMRT

Designed a tool for GMRT receiver calibration, called RxCAL to study the performances of individual antenna through controlled monitoring of their gains to identify in-band amplitude instability and/or phase related problems

Designed a tool for studying the time domain stability of the observatory's frequency standard : GPS (Global Positioning System) disciplined Rubidium atomic clock. Measured the absolute frequency of the atomic clock using pulse Time of Arrival data of a millisecond pulsar
