- I am a physicist.
- My research interests include Astrophysics and Cosmology.
- I did my schooling and graduation in Visva Bharati, Santiniketan (India).
- I obtained my PhD from IUCAA, Pune (India).
- I spent two years in the Astrophysics Sector of SISSA, Trieste (Italy) as postdoctoral fellow.
- I also spent two years as a post-doctoral fellow in the Institute of Astronomy, University of Cambridge (UK).
- I worked for more than three years in the Astrophysics Group of the Harish-Chandra Research Institute, Allahabad (India).
- I am presently working at the National Centre for Radio Astrophysics, Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Pune (India).
- I think I am addicted to watching movies, especially Current Bollywood.
- I am married to Sushan Konar, who is also a physicist.
- Our daughter Ushasi (pet name Eleanor) was born on 23 June 2006.
