Background

A conference cum workshop on the theme of 'The Low-frequency Radio Universe' is being organised by the National Centre for Radio Astrophysics of the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, in commemoration of the birth centenary of Dr. Homi J. Bhabha.  It will be held in NCRA, Pune, India.  The scientific program will highlight results and key astrophysical questions and issues at frequencies less than about 1420 MHz, with an emphasis on the GMRT.

Financial Assistance

Limited financial support to students and postdoctoral fellows to cover local expenses may be available.  Those interested should apply to the Chairperson, SOC, along with a copy of the abstract of the paper to be presented.  Since funds are limited, only those who are unable to get support from their parent Institute should apply. Please request your guide/supervisor/director to e-mail a letter to lfru@ncra.tifr.res.in   in support of your application.
