The Indian music appreciation group of IUCAA and NCRA (IMAGIN) organises music programs by eminent musicians several times a year. There is no formal membership and every program is open to all staff and visitors at NCRA and IUCAA and their families.

Lakha Khan, 63 is a sarangi player and vocalist, and perhaps the greatest exponent of the sindhi sarangi (Indian folk fiddle). He carries forward the musical traditions of Rajasthani folk and Sufi music and blurs the distinction between folk and classical music.
