The NCRA Canteen

Timings

The NCRA Canteen currently has the following timings:

(a) Breakfast : 8.00 - 9.30 AM

(b) Tea : 10.45 - 11.15 AM

(c) Lunch : 01.00 - 02.00 PM 

(d) Tea : 03.45 - 04.15 PM

(e) Snacks : 6.00 - 6.30 PM

(f) Dinner : 07.30 - 9.00 PM

*On Sundays, the canteen will be closed after 3:00 PM.

Meal booking:

 1. Regular canteen users should inform the Canteen Manager in advance about meal requirements, either on a daily or longer-term basis. If regular users will be absent for some period, they should inform the Canteen Manager about this. Also, if a user plans to miss a meal, she/he should inform the Canteen Manager at least a couple of hours in advance, to avoid wastage of food. Specifically, dinner should be booked by at least 6 PM each day.

 2. For visitors who would like use canteen facility soon after arrival, but would not reach in time, please call to canteen manager 020-25719299 with a request to keep food for them, with an information to your host or contact person at NCRA-TIFR. However kindly be informed that canteen will get closed after 9:30 PM.
